This policy explains what Bruno Panucci RMT, a Registered Massage Therapist working from a private in-home practice in Brantford, Ontario, collects and why. It covers two separate things: the health information collected when you book and attend a massage appointment, and the ordinary website data collected when you read this site.

In short: your health information is collected for your treatment, kept confidential, retained as long as the College requires, and never sold. Website analytics are separate, anonymous in aggregate, and used only to see which guides people find useful.

Health information collected at your appointment
Health information is collected at your appointment because safe treatment depends on it. At a first visit Bruno takes a health history covering your reason for coming in, relevant medical conditions, medications, injuries, surgeries and anything that changes how the work should be done. During and after treatment he records what was assessed, what was treated, how you responded and what was planned next. This is a clinical record, and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario requires Registered Massage Therapists to keep one. It is used to treat you, to plan follow-up care, and to produce the receipt you submit to an insurer. It is not used for marketing. If any part of your history is something you would rather not write down, you can tell Bruno directly instead, and he will record only what is clinically necessary.
What the online booking system collects
Online booking is handled by Jane, a third-party practice management platform used by many Ontario health practices. When you book through Jane you provide your name, contact details and appointment preferences directly to that system, and its own privacy terms apply to the data it holds. Bruno sees your booking and your clinical record inside it. If you would rather not use an online system at all, you can text or call 519-753-5544 instead and book without creating an online account. Payment is taken at the visit; full payment card numbers are not stored by this practice.
What this website collects
This website collects far less than the booking system. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which guides are actually read, which is how the writing here gets prioritised. It also records, on this site only, when someone taps the call, text or book button, so Bruno can tell whether people are finding what they need. That click record contains no name, no phone number and no message content, only that a button was tapped and roughly where the visitor arrived from. Analytics cookies can be blocked in your browser, and nothing on this site requires you to accept them in order to read the content. There is no advertising network on this site, no remarketing pixel and no newsletter sign-up.

Who your information is shared with
Your information is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising by anyone. It is shared only in a small number of ordinary situations: with the practice management platform that stores the booking and clinical record, with you, and with anyone you specifically direct in writing, such as an insurer processing a claim or another healthcare provider you want brought into the loop. Bruno does not send your records to an insurer without your instruction; the usual arrangement is that you receive a receipt and submit it yourself. Information may also be disclosed where Ontario law requires it, which is rare and generally involves a legal obligation or a serious safety concern. Anonymous, aggregated website statistics reveal nothing about any individual.
Your rights, and how to exercise them
You have the right to know what is in your record and to ask for a copy of it. You can ask for a correction if something is wrong, ask questions about how the information is handled, and withdraw consent for parts of treatment at any time, including partway through a session. Health records must be retained for the period the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario sets, so a record cannot simply be deleted on request while that period runs, but you can always see it and correct it. To make any of these requests, or to raise a concern about privacy at this practice, text or call Bruno directly at 519-753-5544. If you have booked online, you can also review and update your own contact details inside the booking system. This practice does not publish an email address, so privacy requests come by phone or text, or in person at your appointment.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see my treatment notes?
Bruno, and you. Notes are stored in the practice management system used to run the practice, and they are not shared with other clients, family members or employers. They go to an insurer or another provider only when you specifically direct that in writing, or in the rare situation where Ontario law requires disclosure.
Can I have a massage without filling in a health history?
Not entirely, because some conditions change what is safe to do, and a Registered Massage Therapist is required to screen for them. What you can do is keep it brief and tell Bruno verbally rather than writing everything down. He will record only what is clinically necessary, and he will tell you plainly if something means the session needs to change.
Does this website track me across other sites?
No. There is no advertising network, no remarketing pixel and no social media tracker on this site. Google Analytics counts visits and page views so Bruno can see which guides people actually read, and the button-tap record shows only that a call, text or book button was tapped. You can block analytics cookies in your browser and still read everything here.
How long are my records kept?
For the retention period the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario requires for client health records. That period exists so that care can be reviewed and continued properly, which is why a record cannot simply be erased on request while it applies. You can ask to see or correct your record at any point during that time.
